Pay Attention to God’s Word

¹⁶ When we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,^[a] we did not follow any clever myths. Rather, we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. ¹⁷ For he received honor and glory from God the Father when these words from the Majestic Glory were spoken about him: “This is my Son, whom I love. I am pleased with him.”
